Welcome! I’m Sarah Piercy, author and founder of Heart and Wonder Stories, LLC. Join me on a touching journey that helps families, educators and ultimately children, learn the social emotional skills that are so important to navigating life as we grow. I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them and that they bring comfort, joy and learning to your homes. Happy “Tails”!
Losing a beloved pet can be one of the first big heartbreaks in a child’s life. Remember When follows young Zoe as she navigates the loss of her best furry friend, Sir Buddy Bear the XII. Through gentle storytelling and shared family memories, this book helps children understand their big emotions. It offers a safe space to discuss grief openly, reminding us that even though our pets may leave us, the joy and love they brought into our lives will always stay in our hearts.

Sarah Piercy has always had a profound love for storytelling and a deep passion for supporting young hearts. With a background as a music therapist and over 18 years in early childhood education as a teacher, supervisor, and coach, Sarah understands how to gently connect with children. After experiencing the heartbreaking loss of her own family dog, Buddy Bear, she discovered the healing power of writing. Today, she hopes her stories bring comfort, understanding, and connection to others navigating the loss of a cherished pet.
My booth will be outside with the food trucks in front of Union Station.
